Introducing our Family Outreach Liaison for 2023-2024

Dear Houghton-Kearney School Community,

We are thrilled to introduce Mrs. Candelaria Muñoz as our Family Outreach Liaison for the upcoming academic year, 2023-2024. In this role, Mrs. Muñoz will be a dedicated resource, ensuring that every parent, guardian, and family member receives the support and assistance they need to foster a successful educational journey for their children.

Modern families often face numerous challenges that can impact a student's participation in both academic and extracurricular activities. To provide effective education to our diverse student population, fostering strong communication and collaborative relationships with parents is essential. Our goal at Houghton-Kearney is to empower all parents to actively engage in their child's education. We especially want to support those parents who may require assistance in navigating the educational process, feel less engaged in school activities, or simply seek clarification about their roles.

We value this crucial communication link, as it significantly influences a student's academic journey. She will attentively listen to parents' concerns, ensuring that these concerns are shared, understood, and addressed collaboratively with the school.
