Introducing our Family Outreach Liaison for 2025-2026

 

Dear Houghton-Kearney Community,

I hope this message finds you well.

My name is Alessa Sandoval, and I’m excited to introduce myself as the new Family Outreach Liaison at Houghton-Kearney Elementary. My role is to serve as a dedicated point of contact, bringing our school, community agencies and our wonderful families together. 

Whether you have questions about upcoming events, need assistance with teachers, or want to learn more about ways to get involved, I’m here for you! I will serve to ensure your experience at Houghton-Kearney is as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

A little about me:

I have a lot of experience working in various schools in Fresno County, specifically rural community schools. Before becoming the Family Outreach Liaison, I worked as a Parent Educator at Centro la Familia Highway City NRC, where I provided parenting classes and case management for families. My family is originally from Jalisco, Mexico and I speak English, Spanish and minimal Arabic.
